Although myenergi devices can communicate using the built-in wireless link there are some locations where the wireless signal won’t work. In this case, it’s possible to connect the devices together using your local Ethernet network. If you have an older version zappi 2, without in-built RJ45 (Ethernet) Port, you can upgrade your device for hardwired local Ethernet communications with this optional accessory.
