software definable, unlicensed 900 MHz radio. This standards-based approach supports
Honeywell’s EnergyAxis and SynergyNet (IPV6) mesh networks today, and future proof
the utility investment as technologies such as WiSUN become prevalent. The meter
also supports 2.4 GHz (Zigbee) communications for home area networks (HAN).
